Most of the Mikk-line outerwear collection has been treated with BIONIC-FINISH® ECO, an environmentally friendly impregnation. It is biodegradable and free of fluorinated substances.
Mikk-line wants to make a difference. That is why they have a wide range of RECYCLED products consisting of rainwear, thermal clothing, snow suits and winter jackets. They are made from RECYCLED plastic bottles and fishing nets.
They use Oeko-Tex certified yarn for the brushed and boiled wool series of the Mikk line as well as for the RECYCLED rainwear. Oeko-Tex® is a health brand with restrictions on the use of harmful chemicals. In practice, this means that wearing clothing with the Oeko-Tex® certificate has no adverse effect on your health.
Functional boots are a "must" if children have to play outside. Rain boots and thermal boots from Mikk-line are made of natural rubber without the use of harmful phthalates. Natural rubber is a natural, soft and durable material that is 100% waterproof.
Most wool products from Mikk-line are made of super soft merino wool. They only use mulesing-free merino wool for the benefit of animal welfare.
